GALFDan’s emergency safety showers assist in the rapid flushing of contaminants from the body with a deluge of flushing fluid and eye/face wash units help to flush contaminants and irritants from eyes and facial area.

These workers are provided very comprehensive and thorough training on how to do their daily jobs by industry experts. But we must not overlook “human error”.

The emergency shower enclosure consists of an emergency body shower, an eye/face fountain, a hot water storage tank and equipment to maintain the pressure and quality of the incoming water, which is heated by an immersed electric heater to 65-80 C in a stainless steel tank. When the emergency shower is activated, hot water from the tank is mixed with cold water from the mains using a thermostatic mixing valve.
