Fume Hood Introduction

Fume hood is a very important part of ventilation system in laboratory. Laboratory should have a good ventilation environment to keep experimenters away from inhaling or swallowing hazardous gases, smoke, dust, mist and particulate matters or organisms etc. Fume hood is designed for removing these hazardous matters from laboratory.
Standard Characters of PP Fume Hood
1.Shell: made of 8mm white PP board which has excellent anti-corrosion performance, with seamless welding make sure a strong compact structure and tightness.
2.Cabinet door: made of 8mm white PP board, with shutter for ventilation inside the cabinet.
3.Worktop: made of 10mm white PP board, double-layer water-collecting structure. Epoxy resin or phenolic resin or ceramic worktop are optional.
4.Air collection hood: cone shape collecting hood made of white PP board.
5.Fluorescent lamp: fully cover fluorescent lamp, model 1200/1500 is 30W, model 1800 is 40W.
6.Handle: PP handle
7.Hinge: PP hinge
8.Touch control panel: with buttons of power, fan, volume switch, lighting etc.
9.Air deflector: 8mm imported white PP board with excellent anti-corrosion performance.

11.Viewing window: 5mm transparent PVC board
12.Assay sink: one-piece form PP sink, acid and alkali resistant, with filtering and stink-block function.

Harmful and unpleasant chemical fumes are removed from the controlled environment to facilitate a safe and pleasant work environment. The fume hood channels chemical vapors out of the building using an external fan installed on the roof or on an external wall.
